A new Dyneema® Knit upper

The major innovation in this Vaypor lies in its Dyneema® Knit construction.

This extremely lightweight material allows the upper to adapt naturally to the morphology of the foot. It provides an excellent compromise between support, flexibility, and breathability, which is particularly appreciated during long rides or competitions held in hot weather.

Its open structure also promotes air circulation around the foot to improve thermal comfort as intensity increases.

Toray carbon sole: maximum power transfer

The Bont Vaypor Knit uses a hand-laid Toray unidirectional carbon construction, derived from the Vaypor SL platform.

This extremely rigid base limits deformation during pedaling to effectively transmit power to the pedals.

With a thickness of only 3.6mm, the foot is positioned particularly close to the pedal spindle. This low stack height helps create a direct connection with the bike and optimizes stability while pedaling.

Dual BOA® Li2: precise adjustment

The closure system relies on two BOA® Li2 dials allowing for independent and extremely precise adjustment of different areas of the shoe.

The wrap-around design of the closure helps firmly hold the heel and midfoot, even during accelerations, sprints, or climbs performed at high power.

Adjustments can be made quickly and in both directions to easily tweak tension during your ride.
