The On Cloudboom Strike 2 is a unisex competition shoe developed to beat your records in half-marathon and marathon. Lightweight, dynamic and particularly responsive, it combines Helion™ HF superfoam, a carbon fiber Speedboard® and new CloudTec Sphere™ cushioning to optimize energy return and propulsion with every stride.

CloudTec Sphere™: cushioning designed for speed

The Cloudboom Strike 2 introduces CloudTec Sphere™ cushioning, composed of hollowed-out zones between the forefoot and midfoot. This design allows the foam to deform more freely in multiple directions.

The result: a softer landing, a smooth transition and improved responsiveness during toe-off. This geometry also helps preserve muscle comfort as the miles accumulate.

High-energy return Helion™ HF foam

The midsole integrates Helion™ HF superfoam, chosen for its lightness, compression resistance and excellent energy return.

It provides high cushioning without compromising speed sensations. Its construction helps the runner maintain an efficient and dynamic stride during prolonged efforts, especially in road competitions.

Carbon fiber Speedboard®

Placed at the heart of the sole, the carbon Speedboard® stiffens the platform and guides the foot's forward movement.

Combined with Helion™ HF foam and CloudTec Sphere™ geometry, it promotes a rapid transition between impact and propulsion phase. The stride becomes smoother, more energetic and more efficient at a sustained pace.

A lightweight and breathable upper

The open-weave upper offers excellent airflow and precise support while limiting the shoe's weight.

The Cloudboom Strike 2 is primarily a competition shoe. Its combination of superfoam, carbon plate and low drop will particularly suit runners looking for an active stride and marked propulsion.

Its 4mm drop places more stress on the calves and ankles than a traditional high-drop model. We therefore recommend gradually integrating it into your training before using it in competition.

It runs true to size according to On. For a marathon or long-distance triathlon use, however, ensure you maintain enough space at the front of the foot to anticipate swelling during effort.
