The concepts behind the construction are relatively simple: wind protection on wind-facing surfaces, highly breathable fabrics on back-facing surfaces, and all-around water repellency in case of a few drops of rain. The wind protection comes from our lightweight, two-way stretch GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric, which moves with you while being so light you barely notice it's there. This lightweight windproof layer is backed by an independent ProSecco Strada inner layer with a separate zipper that can be opened independently for perfect ventilation control. The back is made from our Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric, which provides a good level of insulation without a membrane, allowing sweat to escape in large quantities. The fit is close-to-body, with no flapping fabric, while the small details make all the difference: easy-sliding YKK® zippers, reflective drainage holes on the pockets, flat silicone grip elastic around the waist.
