The Eclipse Spherical is both the fastest and coolest aerodynamic road helmet Giro has ever created, packing our best technologies into a lightweight, compact form ideal for gravel racing. The sleek outer shell actively streamlines airflow to reduce drag across multiple wind angles, while 14 Wind Tunnel vents draw air through the helmet to deliver incredible cooling power that rivals our most aggressive road helmets. Inside, the spherical technology and shell design is powered by MIPS's Brain Protection System, which allows the helmet's EPS foam outer liner to rotate around the foam inner liner during a crash to help redirect impact forces away from the brain. The progressive implementation of the inner and outer liners also contributes to more comprehensive protection. The patented Roc Loc 5 air system enhances stability and fit, and the plush Ionic antimicrobial padding helps absorb sweat and moisture while providing long-lasting antimicrobial performance.
