Castelli Alpha Flight RoS Jacket: the mid-season jacket for riding fast in cool weather

The Alpha Flight RoS is the lightest and fastest jacket in Castelli's Alpha range. Designed for intense rides in cool weather, it bridges the gap between a long-sleeve jersey and a winter jacket: you stay warm without overheating, even as the intensity builds.

A double layer that regulates temperature
At the heart of the jacket is the Alpha construction: the windproof outer layer is separate from the insulating layer. As a result, heat stays inside while air circulates and sweat escapes. Because in winter, it's moisture that cools you down.

Polartec® Alpha: warm, light, without the bulk
Active Polartec® Alpha insulation is placed on the chest, sleeves, and back. It retains heat while remaining highly breathable, with a weight of just 307 g.

No membrane, for maximum breathability

• Nano Flex Light fabric on the front and sleeves: it blocks some of the wind without a membrane, for maximum breathability.
• Nano Flex Extra Dry on the back: it ventilates and lets heat escape, while repelling water drops thanks to its water-repellent treatment.

A cut designed for speed
Its fitted cut, with no fabric flapping in the wind, makes it Castelli's most aerodynamic model. For the finishing touches: offset YKK® Vislon® double zipper, zippered side pocket for your valuables, and silicone grip band at the waist.

For what conditions?
Road or triathlon rides between 6 and 16 °C, high-intensity workouts, beginning and end of the season.
