La coupe Castelli est dessinée pour la position sur le vélo, penché vers le guidon — pas pour la position debout. Une fois penché, le dos s'allonge d'environ 5 cm et le buste se raccourcit d'autant. C'est pourquoi, debout devant un miroir, le vêtement tire légèrement sur le buste et flotte un peu dans le dos. Ce n'est pas un défaut de taille : c'est précisément ce qui évite les plis et les vagues une fois en selle. Beaucoup perçoivent ça comme un « taille petit », alors que c'est la valeur ajoutée de la marque. Fiez-vous à vos mensurations, pas à la sensation debout.

Poitrine : ruban à l'horizontale, sous les aisselles, bras le long du corps, à l'endroit le plus fort.

The jacket was designed to meet the needs of professional cyclists, where every watt counts. It proved to be our fastest jacket in wind tunnel tests: you don't sacrifice speed to stay dry. The waterproof fabric hugs the body without impeding freedom of movement. The sleeves are designed to fit gloves without adding bulk to the wrist. Three mesh rear pockets keep what you might need close at hand, without filling with water. The stretchy fabric at the back provides additional splash protection, and a reflective strip improves visibility.
