Factor Bikes today announced the launch of the Factor ONE, a bike born from a simple question: how fast can a road bike that complies with UCI rules go?
The answer first came in the form of data, with independent tests confirming that the ONE is the fastest road bike in the world. Then it came on the road, with a stage win at the Critérium du Dauphiné during its prototype debut, providing the clearest possible validation.
The Factor ONE marks a turning point in the way modern racing bikes are designed. Elite cycling has evolved: riders are riding further forward, using narrower handlebars, shorter cranks, higher-volume tires, and more aerodynamic positions than ever before. The ONE was designed from day one around these realities, not adapted as an afterthought.

A game-changing cockpit
The defining feature of the ONE is its bayonet fork and chin fairing, a structure made possible by recent UCI regulation changes and shaped through hundreds of CFD iterations. It controls airflow from the front of the bike, minimizes lateral turbulence, and maintains an aerodynamic advantage even at high yaw angles, where other platforms lose efficiency.
A geometry for the new era of competition
Factor's engineering team fully embraced the fact that today's riders are pushing the boundaries of fit that were once considered extreme. By decoupling the handlebar clamp from the steerer tube, the ONE allows for cockpit lengths that previously would have required unstable stems.
A new bottom bracket drop restores the balance of handling, modified by shorter cranks and modern tires, and keeps the bike perfectly stable at high speed.

Independent performance results
The aerodynamic advantage of the ONE was validated during wind tunnel tests in Guelph and at SASI:
• >8% faster than the OSTRO VAM 2.0
• ~15% faster than the Cervélo S5 (2024)
• >22% faster than the Specialized Tarmac SL8
• Retains its aerodynamic advantage beyond 15° of yaw, where the
competing platforms are losing efficiency
• Stage win in its very first WorldTour appearance at the Critérium du Dauphiné. These results establish the ONE as the fastest UCI-legal road bike ever produced by Factor, and the fastest verified in the industry to date.
Uncompromising cockpit integration
The new integrated handlebar system completely eliminates the stem, replacing it with five sizes (equivalent to 110–150 mm), three height options, and up to 15 mm of adjustment via spacers, giving riders 35 mm of stack variation without sacrificing aerodynamics or handling.

Available in five sizes: 47, 52, 54, 56 and 58, the ONE is offered in four colours: Blush, Nimbus Grey, Onyx Black and Silverstone.
