We set out with Team Ineos to create better seamless arm warmers. Other arm warmers on the market are often made with a nylon/Lycra® blend which tends to retain moisture, but we knew we could achieve better moisture management with polyester yarns. However, working with polyester makes it harder to get the right stretch and consistency, as well as the spring back. It took a year longer than expected, but we are all glad we stuck with it. These arm warmers are a staple of professional cyclists because they are incredibly light and extremely warm for their weight. And even in milder conditions, you don’t overheat. They are so stretchy you barely feel them, and when you take them off they take up a fraction of the volume that normal arm warmers would take up in your pocket.
