The Unlimited version of the Perfetto RoS 2 jacket has simply received a graphic makeover that makes it more suitable for any surface, without compromising performance. When we think about what we want in a gravel jacket, we always come back to the Perfetto model because it truly excels in a wide range of conditions. We just want it to look different. The Perfetto RoS 2 excels in dry conditions thanks to its high breathability, but also in wet conditions thanks to the exclusive Castelli GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric. The front features a lightweight, waterproof fabric lined with fleece, while the back is made of a lighter, more stretchy fabric that maximizes breathability while ensuring excellent water-repellent properties. The Perfetto RoS 2 jacket keeps you protected from the wind while being far more breathable than the polyurethane membranes typically used on most jackets that try to compete with it. When you stay drier, you don't need to wear many layers underneath. The beauty of this jacket lies in the fact that it doesn't have any insulation on it, so a thin base layer will be perfect for mild temperatures, while adding an insulating layer (a thermal base layer or Castelli's Alpha mid-layer) will keep you warmer in colder weather. The choice is yours. The "2" in the name refers to the upgrades made to the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® zipper that opens from both the top and bottom for easier ventilation adjustment. The reflective panel on the back is more visible, the shoulder seam has been moved to the back, and the three pockets can hold more gear. While the Perfetto remains a performance-oriented garment, the new version offers a bit more room in the chest, shoulders, and biceps. This is the jacket every cyclist should have in their wardrobe.
